Tuesday… my (13th) PET scan!

Yes – it really was the 13th PET scan since this all started back in 1999! Makes it over 2 a year!

Nothing really to report today – it was just the scan, but part of the procedure involved fasting from 6 o’clock this morning. In practice meant from dinner time last night! (I’ll write an ‘About…’ page to cover the PET scan itself). My appointment was for 12 noon, and lasted just over 2 hours, of which 30 minutes is in the scanner, so I was a bit hungry by the time it finished. The healthy ham salad roll, followed by the decidedly unhealthy large iced doughnut was very welcome!

I guess the main diet over the next couple of days might be finger nails while I wait to get the results 🙂 – no – I am reasonably relaxed about it – honestly! So – until Thursday…

Everythnng crossed for you Peter. You only gave Dawn a partial answer, not only do large ammounts of grapefruit juice interfer with some medication they also really screw up servers.

Is there any Council Tax implications of having a telephone point in the new conservatory? This could be new blog. Pix of footing, early brekkie in the debris with the odd bit of medical news to keep us on our toes.

There must be a whole book to be written on the options for the type of glass, gap, gas filled, gold and reflective coatings not to mention self-cleaning.

A distraction while we wait for your results.

Good luck let’s hope you hear before BT Max is launched.

Thank you for the grapefruit explanation.

With regard to telephone point in your conservatory – I thought you could sit out there to take CAREline calls!

Good luck for Thursday – I’ll be thinking of you.

Ah – but with a data socket I can always plug in a VoIP phone!
