Hmmm – there is more to being a blogmaster than meets the eye! I came to check the site this morning and found that it wasn’t working – so if you tried to look, you either received a cryptic message about not finding the mysql server, or my hastily put together maintenance page!
Suffice to say that it is now working again, after I installed another little patch – but why it stopped overnight when I had done nothing to the system remains a mystery!

Delighted to have your update of good positive news, and new address.
I came south to Keswick to stay with my brother, and planned to return yesterday – M74 blocked, high winds, drifts, ice … so stayed! I’m feeling sorry for the birds trying to catch a beakful from the swinging nut hangings, and avoid the crows trying to do the same thing.
It’s not snowing today but the wind is certainly relentless. Did you say buds on trees!

No snow here by the way – its b…..cold though. Do you have a telephone extention in the conservatory?

Dawn – You can’t eat grapefruit while taking cyclosporin – not without feeling very ill anyway!
There won’t be a telephone socket in the conservatory (although there may be a dataport!) Why???
