Thursday… Spring is in the air!

Yes, I know that Spring doesn’t officially start until the equinox on 21 March (unless you are the Met Office, who start Spring weather records from today) but it has been a lovely sunny day here – in between rain showers – that it feels like April, so I am hunting down a Spring theme for the blog. I have found this one, but it may need a little more tweaking, and I haven’t seen what it looks like with IE yet, but it seems to display OK with open standards compliant browsers such as Opera and Firefox – and if you haven’t yet got round to downloading them yet from www.mozilla.com or www.opera.com I urge you to do so!

Not much change healthwise since Tuesday, apart from a slight change in taste, so we will see what next week brings! Meanwhile I must blacklist a few more spammer IP addresses – last week I accumulated over 1000 spam comments on the blog. None of them were published, the spam filter saw to that, but they take up bandwidth and distort the statistics, so I prefer to block them before they get to the system!

Still – Onwards and Upwards!

A Spam sandwich might help the weight increase 🙂

My Firefox has slowed down for a reason I cannot determine.

I think after tonight’s frost and the eclipse on Saturday it may be safer to call it Spring.

Poppies are harvest flowers so do not wish the Summer away.

I did note the poppies – the heme author is clearly demonstrating artistic license! I haven’t found any pics of hosts of golden daffodils!

Decided I didn’t like the poppies, this seems more spring like and easier to read! I had thought about spam fritters! (or Elephant’s footprints as they were known)

Not sure that I like the new format. One big trouble, the new format is displayed when archives are opened.

Eating the product of the field with the sheep, bit early for the best lamb from the New Romney Marsh but the product of the poppy is definitely only to be used under medical supervision.
Come to think of it in this country meat is only supplied under the medical supervision of Vets……

Pretty pictures!! How could you think of eating the cute lamb??!! (nice with a drop of red I think)

I like the pictures, very spring like, particularly as the view from my window has now changed from bright blue skies to nasty storm clouds 🙁

Glad to see you up to a bit of tinkering on the webpage

    love and hugs

What a nice layout, makes you feel all positive and hopefull if that makes sense? I always eagerly antisipate the first Salt Marsh Lamb slowly roasting away in my oven. mmmmmmmmm!!!!!! Next best thing to Bacon sarny’s and T-Bone Steak, Sticky Toffee Pudding with lashings of Custard, well i think its best just to say it’s on my list of nice foods!!!!

All this changing around on your blog has started me thinking about changing mine around as its been a while now.

    See Ya!!

Well, we’re back from the snow to see your Spring picture. However, down here, it’s rain, rain and more rain at the moment!

Good to get back up to date and hope your weekend has been good and that next week will be even better!

    Lots of love,
    Liz
