Tuesday… wet, wet, wet!

So was that the summer? Fortunately I managed to get into the garden on Saturday and scalp the lawn – after a morning spent chasing round rescuing Rachael’s car from where she had abandoned it the night before with a flat tyre (and flat spare). Close examination showed that it had (at some time) had a close encounter of the kerb kind, so she needed a new rim – duly obtained from the local car breakers – she did suggest opening an account there! Anyway, two new tyres later and she is now mobile again.

Felicity came home on Sunday, from Henley, just long enough to do her washing and depart for Hampton Court on Monday morning. I am hoping to go off for a few days next week – but as the arrangements are not yet in place – I will say no more for now!

Coursework 3 beckons, so I had better sign off – but as always…

Onwards and Upwards!

Yea i enjoyed summer too!! I reckon an account at breakers may save you money longer term!! Either that or ask for a frequent visitor discount.

Not settled in to not working yet (double negative?) so not really used to ‘retirement’ – handed back company car and have bought myself a little second hand Peugeot 206 – I LOVE it.

Don’t think I’ll make the next ECP sesh either – hoping to go away for a few days – but should hear over the weekend!

Simon, have a ‘sesh’ at the Phoenix and show Peter the pleasure of a Bishop’s finger.

Sounds like a variation on a Bishop’s Tipple!

Is this a Naval brew or initiation rite?
