Easter Wednesday…

Well, the Wednesday of Easter week, and I am taking a few days holiday, and after the poor weather last week, things are looking up so far – yesterday was warm, today slightly less so. However the first blossom has appeared on the trees, so perhaps it really is spring!

The good news is that my contract has been renewed, so I will be in gainful employment for a few more months. What will happen after that is anyones guess (as always) but I am pleased!

We had a quiet weekend, until Sunday when al lthe family gathered round for Sunday dinner apart from Rachael who was working) and I am using this week to catch up with the end of financial year paperwork, and a bit of pottering about!

Onwards and upwards!

Good news about the job………………but a family gathering at Easter and no egg hunt?

Mowing now the order of the next couple of days to try to dry out the lawns for Lewis’s party on Saturday.

Sticks at the ready. Also he wants me to save some of the larger prunings from the Cob trees to play with the boys (not the girls) in the field…………..not sure what that will be about but will leave supervision to his mother.

    Have a good week.

Thank you Gillian not that I recognise the tune but the mower should be OK as today I sprayed the underside of the deck so good and slippy surface.

Anyone for grass cuttings ? 🙂

Bon Voyage………if you get the chance to go through Broadmayne then that is where my family came from in the mid-19th Century.

I did see the rhythm of the song but just couldn’t hear it, just noticed the speakers were muted 🙂

If Peter is off you could make it a BT Marketing day out. Just give Simon a call too. Peter could do with the rest and a day in the Sun.

Not sure if we went through Broadmayne – daughter was navigating – but did end up successfully in Bridport!

Now have nice blue car – makes a change from silver 🙂

and – even better – the air con works 🙂 🙂

I suppose ‘blue’ cars are a good choice, reliable, economical, safe and good value. Not sure how the rest of us choose a make and model

    Cool choice though Gillian :

well, blue certainly seems to make it go faster 😀

It’s very pretty, although only two doors so acting as a taxi service for daughter’s school friends could be interesting!

Ha! We used to have a Peugot 806 ((7 seater) which had the advamntage that when the seats were removed (well, the rear five) it had loads of space – but with the seats in, was regarded as a universal taxi – many a time we turned up to collect youngest – and find that we were transporting 5 of her friends across the county (slight exaguration – but only slight). It had to go!

Peter, was it blue………..if not that may have been the real reason for its departure 🙂

The worse trip I was conned into was Louise and some school friends organised a day out on quad bikes etc, but it was in Somerset 🙁 A car full of girls excitedly chatting for hours is not to be repeated………I hope!!

No, not blue! (A fairly standard silver colour!)
