Tuesday… the hot spell

A little cooler this morning, here in Corsham, so I hope that wasn’t the totality of summer! But it was a glorious weekend, although Saturday was spent doing some work, while Sunday saw me getting to grips with the vagaries of Corporation Tax! Last week was uneventful, although the conjunctivitis has still not cleared up, but I have a check-up with the opthalmic specialist at St Thomas’s next week, so if it hasn’t gone then, he might be able to suggest an alternative anti-biotic. However, although there is occasionally a little discomfort, and I can’t wear contact lenses, it is of little practical consequence. It is certainly a lot better than it was.

Delighted to see that Richard is back commenting (no idea about the Firefox spell checker! 🙂 ) and also to hear from Simon (BT) again!

So with another Bank Holiday approaching… Onwards and Upwards!

    gggggggggg ssolved itrrrrrrrrrrr 🙂

The problem is that on this laptop I installed Firebadger instead of Firefox. In other words I didn’t check that it had a dictionary installed and without it the checker doesn’t work.

Odd that when you select the option of automatic checking there is no warning that there are no dictionaries installed.

    Not so hot today.

Thanks Richard. Unfortunately bad planning on my part – as celebrating 25th wedding anniversary later this year – means I can’t get away with pretending I’m only 30!

Enjoy the day off I’ve arranged though – off to big shopping centre at Westfields London armed with Husband’s credit card, so should be a good day for me, if not him 😀

Best wear some asbestos gloves then those cards can give you a nasty burn when they get hot though constant use…………have a great spend-day as a child bride you still could be in the low 30s. there was an expression that you are only as old as the ‘card’ your feel 🙂

Good tip on the asbestos gloves, they came in very useful 😉

Chilled champagne also helped to cool things down a bit
