Sunday… working

On my coursework! Felicity has gone to Wales to visit her brother, so I have stayed in the flat to do some writing up of the current piece of coursework. I’ll be going over there for lunch later.

This week has been quieter, although I have been staying late to do some more writing up. However, my contract ends in two weeks… there are moves to get it renewed for a further term, and I am reasonably optimistic, but it is getting close to the wire!

Health wise all is OK, although my mouth has become sore again, however I have my next check up soon, and I have some of the medication I used before, so I’m not unduly concerned.

That apart – all is well!

Onwards and Upwards!

    Hello one and all.
Sorry for long silence – have been sampling the delights of neurosurgery at Kings College this time to remove a brian tumour – happy to report that I was exceptionally well looked after and have nothing but admiration and praise for all the staff there. I must say it’s a bit bizarre to realise that someone has been ‘digging about’ in your brain!!

I did ask my surgeon, Mr Bhangoo, to ensure that he returned the one cell if he found it – phew – he did!

Am now on radiotherapy – every day for 2 weeks but am now in second week so light at end of tunnel.

Richard – am well up for another Project Phoenix before autumn sets in!
O and U one and all

Good to hear from you Simon, even if you had a Brianectomy as well as brain surgery.

Can’t say any more for fear of being misunderstood ad my Brother-in-Law is called Brian.

Vivienne was talking to the chap from WAC today, trying to network a marketing job, if you remember that is where we had our promotional press launch, or was it lunch?

Keep in contact and try to keep the Phoenix alive.

All the best and feeing retuning to fingers and toes.

Is that the order of the Phoenix?

Glad to hear all is going well Simon and that brian is not causing too many problems – he has a birthday tomorrow in our family

Ah, a Brian birthday operation is due then……………

The orders at the Phoenix used to be serving 6th formers (in uniform, sorry no boots, big red machines or hoses Gillian) it was a problem sometimes getting back to say grace when on lunch duties. We thought we were really smart do you think the masters knew?

Should have been feeling not feeing (what ever that is)

    Best stuff

My little girl is only 7 and I want to at least give her a boost into adult hood – is it really possible? I know that you wont be able to answer cos you will get loads of mail but I will follow your blog – take care of yourself from Jacqui Adamson
