Friday… More ECP

My carA quick update on the week, most of which was spent up at St Thomas’s, having the next course of ECP. However the monotony was broken as Felicity and Rachael came up for the afternoon and we went out for a pizza in the evening – with my ‘Joe Cool’ 🙂 sunglasses on, which made reading the menu difficult! (I have to wear them for about six hours after each session to protect my eyes from UV radiation). My car

The pictures are of the two cars involved in the incident last week. Mine is above left, with damage to the rear bumper. It still isn’t back, the garage is waiting for the replacement moulding. The other one is the car that hit it. Don’t think I need say more!

This weekend we are off to a birthday party, calling in at my parents on the way. More of that next week!

Onwards and upwards!

Shame about the bumper, try fitting reversing sensors whilst it is off although perhaps you can see ok, they are really helpful on my car and only cost £50 for the kit from the manufacturer.

I guess that the other driver was distracted by your odd number plate. I’ve heard of (and got) vanity or personalised plates but one with no digits must be worth a fortune ………..oh look there goes that Peter again even the Queen has to have a number or no plate at all 🙂

    Stuff crossed for the ECP

    Hi Peter,

Sorry, I haven’t been in touch for a while – a long story! Anyway, I’ve been catching up withyour news all the way back to your Falkland entries. I bet their weather, despite it being winter, was better thanours this summer.

Hope you get the car sorted – these things are often a ridiculous administrative pain.

Hope the ECP is going well, although I think I missed out on what exactly that is. No doubt you’ll fill me in!

    Lots of love,
    Liz

I’ve just checked your blog today, but saw that my message from yesterday didn’t get through, so I thought I’d just check in again today. With our move, I’ve been “out of touch” for a while.

Anyway, I was interested to see the news of your Falklands trip. One day, I’d love to get back there too.

Hope you get the car sorted too. The admin process of insurance companies can be such a pain in the neck, so I hope you get it sorted soon.

I missed out on ECP. What is it? Whatever it is, hope it goes well!

    Lots of love,
    Liz

Norton is blocking reporting after the first session, or so it says

Hi Liz, Sorry – the posts ended up in moderation for some reason (different IP address probably) but they have now been released!

Richard – not sure why Norton should do that… (but then Norton does do some strange things… 🙂 )

Thanks! Now I understand why I didn’t get through the first time!

    Lots of love,
    Liz

PS Hope all the treatment and count down to leaving the RN are going well.
