Friday… Oops!

I was sitting happily at my desk yesterday afternoon, when the ‘phone rang… “Hello, this is St Thomas’s Dermatology Day Centre – did you know you had an appointment for ECP this afternoon?”. It appears that my dates of 29th and 30th were at variance with their booking system! (I take the blame). After some discussion, we have re-scheduled it for the only blank spot they had, whioch is next Tuesday and Wednesday, and that nearly didn’t happen because of lack of accomodation. Slightly embarrassing!

Funny too, because in the last few days, I have noticed my shoulders getting stiff, and one or two minor skin signs that I was due a treatment session.

Tomorrow is the Wedding Fair – the fourth year Felicity has organised the event – which promises to be bigger and better than the previous ones – and if the fine weather continues (Iceland permitting) it should be a good day.

So as I have things to get ready for it, I had better finish here – Onwards and Upwards!

Will have digits akimbo for the ECP next week.

However today we are rather distracted as we have borrowed a 3D TV to watch the Manchester derby. So will have to lay in pies and various coloured scarves (rattles from my youth seem to have gone, my Father made me one when I was about 8 – good and noisy)

So all that is missing is beer we have a no alcohol in the ground policy.

    Brekkies awaits

St Georges trying to install a new IT system. Receptionist finding new system poor and the myriads of people running around trying to make it work, poorer. I’m not holding my breath, they have had a notice in the front entrance ‘cashpoint coming soon’ in place for 18 months and counting. But they could get the machine to ‘donate to St Georges’ up and running as the refurb happened.
They are already re planting, the planting (where they got rid of the car drop off point last year. Loads of the plants died. I watched the contractors plant the originals – badly, and then not water them so they would thrive. What a waste of money. Can you program the MOD to target an airstrike to wipe out the managers offices??? Just a thought!!
    Good luck with the fair

3D TV Richard – that’s posh – still have to wear the glasses tho’ 😀

No Alcohol! But it’s definitely Pimms weather now – just watch out for ash falling in your drink

    xx

Oh and good luck for the wedding fair on Sunday Peter – looks like the weather is going to be good for it (ash or no ash )

Ashes to Ashes…………oh no that was last night.

Like in the early days of HD there are very few 3D programmes.

All too dear for home use apart from the ultra dedicated fan.

Some good examples of what it can do but it does seem odd everyone sitting there in glasses, just like the cinema. In the fifties newsreels 🙂

Simon – Doh indeed – need to re-schedule that beer!

Richard – missed “Ashes to Ashes” – have to get it on I-player!

Gillian – +1 for a Pimms – and roof down weather on the car too!

Gill – The trusts must be spending their end of year excess – be interesting to see hat St T’s comes up with next!
