Sunday… dreary nights :(

I hope you all remembered to put the clocks back to GMT this morning! And claimed your extra hour in bed! I didn’t as I had my ‘flu jab yesterday. Whether that was the cause, I don’t know, but I didn’t sleep very well.

But apart from that, it has been an uneventful week. Having cancelled my trip to France in the hope of an interview, nothing materialised, but the week hasn’t been wasted as I have done one or two little tasks round the house. Health wise all seems OK. I had a report from the hospital on my last blood test, which although wasn’t commented on specifically, appears that the liver enzyme is further reduced. Still elevated, but much lower than it has neen. Nothing official on the ultrasound yet.

So I am sitting in my study looking at a dreary and rapidly darkening landscape – Felicity has been away most of the week, initially with a friend, latterly with her mother, but she should be back fairly soon, so perhaps it is time to go and light the fire!

Thank you all for your comments on the last post – I think I have replied in the last one!

Onwards and upwards!

Fire………………? According to the Met Office it is mild 🙂

Gillian will be in her Spar, dangling from the rigging and looking for help from a sailor (your cue Peter)

Just go to chip in this week to daughter 2# to the excess on her car insurance following a mild coming together with another car in Twells but £600 looks like paying for the repairs without the help of the insurance co. 🙁

Tomorrow is Bluewater to find clothes for her interview, not that two wardrobes should produce the same answer, so more of what Gillian likes……………retail therapy

    Spa was wonderful thanks …

And now, off to Cardiff via Swansea at the weekend to visit friends and more retail therapy – must start the xmas shopping soon 🙂

Fingers crossed for the next interview Peter

More a Sainsbury’s man myself, Spar seems a bit limited! Cardiff eh – watch out for the students! (Well, at least one! 🙂 )

Cardiff was ok, but a bit full of rugby / football fans …. not sure which 😀

Now a bit tired, having caught up with friends before they go off to the US of A for a couple of years (the wine flowed a bit!)

Off to catch up on some zzzz’s
