I can\u2019t complain though, I had no clinical need and they needed it for someone who does (either because they are susceptible to infection or have an infection themselves). So I am back in the bay I was in the first time I was admitted!  Home sweet home from home!<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t have a bed by the window, but this is the view&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.boraston.net\/blog\/images\/DE294947-FA72-47C3-B18A-3F83EE0E6D94.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.boraston.net\/blog\/images\/DE294947-FA72-47C3-B18A-3F83EE0E6D94-250x176.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"176\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2479\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But I had a fairly good night\u2019s sleep. I had a bit of pain round my kidney when I woke, but nowhere near as bad as yesterday, and it has more or less resolved itself as I\u2019ve been moving about.  One of my other symptoms, occasional numbness on one side of my face, hasn\u2019t returned, so I\u2019m taking all this as an indication that the cytarabine is working.  I\u2019ve just had bloods taken so it will be interesting to see what hey say.<\/p>\n<p>But all being well, I should have the next dose early this afternoon!<\/p>\n<p>Onwards and Upwards!<\/p>\n<p>Update:  Just had blood test results &#8211; WBC count down from 240 to 200! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, I suppose it was too good to last, but last night I was evicted from my side room!
